Towards a Fairtrade Europe...?
You may have seen some of the coverage recently of the appointment of Jean-Claude Juncker as President of the European Commission. He seems to have divided opinion somewhat, but for anyone sitting on the fence there is good news - he is a committed fair trader!
It's fair to say this probably won't be the first thing you read about him in the days and weeks ahead, but it's good to have someone at the very top who is obviously passionate about these issues.
I for one welcome our new fair trade overlords!
