Unique and unusual fair trade rugs from Mexico

Of all the items we sell at Eighteen Rabbit, we're particularly passionate about our range from Mexico. Having lived there for a year we feel a special affinity to the great country, and we travel back frequently to visit some of the amazing cities and towns. While we're there we often pick up some incredible and unique products, and our handwoven rugs are no exception.

We source these from a cooperative in Oaxaca which gives individual weavers a platform to sell their creations to a wider audience. Each one is unique, hand woven on a wooden loom, and made from 100% wool using natural dyes. They are incredibly tough and hard wearing (even our crazy cat, Stuart, hasn't damaged the one we have in our lounge) and make incredible gifts. We love the more unusual ones, like this Don Quixote inspired design.
